So we will take the steps we need to take, pull together as the human race. We will learn more and more to trust our fellow humans, and we'll move forward into a brave new, and better, world.
We have to get up and make it work, one day. Well today's the day. We have too much power now as a species to mess around not getting it right. We now have the power to destroy our selves. That threat alone should make us want to trust each other. Because mistrust is what triggers the fear which throws us into the very situations where we start to act crazy. And we really can't afford to act like crazy people any longer. It's time to change.
Is the Daily PLAN IT Religious or Political?
The answer to that question would have to be no. On the subject of politics there is no government getting it absolutely right. None of them have brought us a peaceful world, not YET! No political party stands out as a shining example for all humanity, for all of the world's people, to looked up to. Does that mean they will never succeed? That remains to be seen. Does it mean they aren't trying? Well it seems clear that many of them are in fact trying genuinely hard to improve the world, it's just their success rate that's still in question.
For the sake of guaranteed world peace, wouldn't we have to have just one single government? With a single army for the whole planet? With no one else to fight you eliminate the need for all warfare. Simple, logical.

The UN is supposed to be that world government, capable of stopping all wars. That's why it was created in the first place. But when it asks world leaders not to go to war, they simply ignore it, and then go to war anyway. So politics doesn't work in bringing world peace. Until we find politicians who can do what they are told, who obey the law, so we wait patiently.
You can ask the same questions. Has religion brought us closer together, or achieved world peace? It has created a large number of divisions, and has even supported warfare on many occasions. Does that mean the Dally PLAN IT sees religion and politics serving no purpose? No! A lot of good has come from both religion and politics.
But only success counts as actual proof of their value. So far neither has succeeded. That doesn't mean we should give up on them. But definite improvements need to be made if we are to ever hope for world peace.
